phono preamp attenuation
perfect to attenuate a too strong signal output from a phono preamplifier. if u have a phono cartridge with a relatively high output signal u will have this problem. todays standard phono preamplifier gain of 40dB produces a too strong output signsl for soundcards to handle if u want to record your vinyl. what u want is s gain of about 30dB which u will get with this attenuator. the effective attenuation seems to be a bit more than 6dB at least with my equipmemt
