Very poor quality recording.
This recording is very flat and tinny compared to our 60+ year-old vinyl recording.

In over 30 years of VCR experience this is one of the best.

But a recent acquisition of a preowned unit proved disappointing so I tried this refurbished Sony unit. It is a VERY GOOD VCR. It meets all aspects of setup, recording, and display with ease and quality.

Original OEM part at virtually same price as from the manufacturer—shipped right now.
Our appliance repair provider had waited 3 weeks for this part—imperative for our washer's operation—to come from Whirpool with no indication that it was about to be shipped. The Whirpool OEM part from this source came within the week that it was ordered—bringing an end to our weekly visits to the laundromat to get our clothes washing done.
