Gentle Humor and Wisdom

Just Too Real
With cameras everywhere including on every cell phone, this is so easy to believe. We are watched. The sad thing I thought was that so many of our graduates in computer science have such a hard time finding jobs here, whereas in Asia, there are many large hacking concerns for them to work for.
I like Mark Greaney's writing, as it seems to keep the general pattern of the Clancy novels. Sometimes a little too much on the technical side for someone who is not trained in flying, but that's ok. I love the characters in the Jack Ryan stories and have read most of them. I was puzzled about John Clark's hand injury apparently from a previous book and couldn't find it. Age takes it's toll, but John still has more experience and wisdom than the young guys. Thanks for a good story.

Realistic view of life in Botswana
My husband and I have read all the books in the series and have enjoyed going back to read the first ones. These are comfortable, easy stories and it is like visiting an old friend. Thanks to the author for such insight into the minds of those folks living pretty traditional lives in Botswana and for bringing it to us.
