Works at it should. Fun to use.
No surprises. As described by seller. Good quality. However, as with all cheap adaptors and even a few of the expensive ones the black finish on the inside is not as matt as I would like it to be. The compact design has the advantage of having no protrusions avoiding problems of compatibility with the body of different camera models. On the downside, this same design makes unmounting the adapter slightly more difficult because it does not have a lock for rotation, only click stops. Non-the-less it is very easy to use and fun! Be prepared to use a wide angle OM lens to take full advantage of the tilt function ( 35 mm (true) focal length).
The tilt function is specially useful for landscape and macro photography, but even for portraits can allow to keep the focus plane parallel to the face of a subject whose face is facing slightly to the side.

Way better than most other Chinese adaptors
Mechanically perfect. Dimensions are spot on, so no problems with fit and/or focusing past infinite. Only thing that could be better is the interior finish. It looks like black anodized, which as can be seen in the product photograph is somehow shinny. The best adaptors such as those from Novoflex (made in Germany) are matt black on the inside which should be more effective at preventing reflections (which could decrease image contrast).
I have experience both with cheap Chinese adaptors and the Novoflex ones. Whatever you may read elsewhere, many of the very cheap adaptors will give sub-optimal performance of the adapted lens, or be ergonomically problematic. I even received one cheap adapter that scratched the paint on the back of the adapted lens because of an oversized or out-of-place tab.
Kipon's adaptors are usually priced midway between the Novoflex's and the cheapest Chinese adaptors. This matches quite well their quality. So, these are the cheapest adaptors I would recommend with confidence to a friend.

Optically excellent
A warning first, this adapter does not have any electronic contacts, so the use of any adapted lens is in manual or aperture priority, and manual focus. Hence you can use only lenses which have a mechanical focusing and control ring for the diaphragm. Within this restrictions this adapter is optically excellent and can produce images with excellent resolution if the adapted objective is good enough. The quality vs. price is outstanding.
As the flange distance for Canon EF (EOS) objectives is rather short, using a simple adapter with no electric contacts allows further adapting it to other lens mounts. I am using it in this way with Zuiko (Olympus) lenses from the original "OM" film cameras.
On those difficult shots with a bright light source within the frame there is more flare visible than with modern objectives. Most of the time it is enough to use a lens shade to improve this. Take into consideration that some of the old lenses I have been using are not multicoated, so flare is not very well controlled in them. How much of the flare stems from the old objectives themselves and how much from "adding more glass" or internal reflections in the adapter is difficult to assess..
I recommend this adapter without hesitation to anybody who cannot justify the expense of those from Metabones, or in those cases where the objectives to be adapted have no electronics and will be used anyway manually.
