Corgi 1/50 Scale - 22701 Bedford TK Box Truck - Pickfords Diecast Model Truck

Another fine model from Corgi

This is a very good quality diecast model from Corgi . As a more recent model , it features even more detail . I particularly like the addition of tiny etched metal windscreen wipers on the cab . It's quite a chunky piece of metal and that , somehow, adds to the quality 'feel' of the model . On it's own , this is a very attractive model in Pickford's more traditional dark blue with perfectly applied white lettering . But it really deserves to be in a dedicated collection . It also has red wheels that do look a little plasticky . There again , they're made from plastic ! The tyres have a soft vinyl rubbery feel . It comes in an attractive 'window' style box , and being a Luton style removal van is in Corgi's recent 'On the Move' series and features a limited edition numbered certificate . Personally , being a Pickford's model ,I would have preferred it to be in a Pickford's box , but that is a minor criticism . Any collector of model trucks and lorries from the classic 1950s and '60s should look out for this lovely model .
