I sent several messages over the course of a week asking Adam if I could send through Royal Mail. After a week of trying, I refunded the sale and his excuse was "I don't check my emails"... In 2025, buying something and then not checking emails in case there are problems is just asking for trouble.

Nice watch

A new bar
Even if they're was already a decent, reasonably priced fieldguide to caterpillars of Britain and Ireland, this would likely have set a new bar. The illustrations are superb and all the accompanying information (foodplant, life-cycle, range maps, distinguishing features and confusion species) very useful. But there wasn't. This is the only fieldguide to caterpillars of Britain or Ireland you should consider buying.
