Great DC pump for applicatons that need a bit more discharge pressure
This pump has a higher discharge pressure than many similar DC pumps. It worked well for pumping out of the bottom of a shallow well to an elevated tank. The sealed electric connector makes connection simple.Mine is hooked directly to 12 Volt DC solar panel. I was aware that this is inline submersible pump that does not have a strainer. Make sure you add one if you are pumping out of water with solids in it. I expect it will burn out quickly if the impeller gets clogged with solids. The only complaint is that the direction of flow is not shown anywhere on the case. I had to flip mine it as the first time around I had it upside down.
