Simple and works with CAT5 extender.
Used to control power on remote display. Works with a low cost generic HDMI over CAT5 extender. Adds additional weight to HDMI connectors so cables may need to be supported to maintain good connections. Remote is on sound booth at console that is 25 feet from rack that has HDMI output on HDMI matrix switch. Used low cost 25ft 1/8 stereo headphone extender to connect remote IR recieved to HDMI connector.

Addapted to GIO RZE scooter
Used to replace 450 Watt control on old GIO scooter. Scooter has a great deal more get up and go, but battery life is significantly decreased, also the increased current meant the 25 Amp circuit breaker needed to be replaced with 60 Amp breaker and now the wiring and connector on the batteries need to be beefed up, it is showing signs of overheating.
