seat cover had damage not visible in the picture

The seat had a rip not visible in the picture, I had to purchase a cover kit and will have to pay a trim shop to remove the existing ripped cover and install the replacement cover. I wanted a cover that was not damaged/degraded to the point of requiring replacement. At a total involved cost of $171.00 this is too much money to spend plus the additional cost of purchase of the replacement cover and associated labor to install it. I would have bought a lower priced and damaged seat and went through the hassle of re-covering it and been in better shape money-wise to get a nice seat for my Honda 160 restoration project.
