It does improve their breath considerably and brightens teeth
I'm new to using this so I hedged with 4 stars but so far it seems to make their teeth better looking--the ones with lesser discoloration are brighter--and the ones with buildup look better around the gumline. A couple of my dogs are in bad need of vet cleanings (expensive!) but anything that keeps bacteria buildup at bay is welcome and the pets who aren't so bad off are showing improvement so I'm sticking with this in the meantime

A good buy
The fan is indeed quiet; it is lightweight & the thin depth fits a narrow space if that's a consideration, and the price was right on 2 so I can outfit another application
