Very Pleased...
Was looking for a decent sized garden thermometer, and this fitted the bill perfectly. It's stylish, and being metal, it should be durable too.
A couple of observations: to read it, you do have to be directly infront of it (not a problem for me), and the negative scale going down to -40°... half that is likely to be adequate in most places, so the whole thing could've been bigger still.
Minor points though... still very pleased with it

All as described... an easy DIY job.
Came promptly, and all as described. Only needed the key pad (numerals worn off my original) and spacer, but the membranes may be handy in the future.
Mine is an older Veritas 8, so to make it fit, I needed to take off the tags from the back of the new key pad, and all the various plastic tags from the back of my casing. All very straight forward though, and everything's as good as new now.
