I am not happy but I have found some use for the slide hammer.
The tool was oversized and it did not work for the application intended. It was brittle and broke when I used the hammer and puller.

I could not get the originals but these work.
It has a snake skin look. I have not seen it with the flashers on but it seems ok. You have to fit them properly or it would seem to not feel right. Gives a little more to attention to detail which could only be good.

I could be right.
I got and used it. I thought it was a little soft and could allow the roundel to be removed if being pinched but the material will change when heat gets to it.
