The Right Part at The Right Price
Sure feels good to resurrect a dead laptop with a $30 investment in parts (including shipping), instead of $300. This system board is listed as "refurbished" and described as removed from working system, tested, checked, and cleaned. That's exactly what I received. Excellent job, JK Computer Parts. Note that, as described) this system board does not include the CPU, heatsink, fan, or memory, so you'll need to transfer these parts, and you'll need heatsink compound to do so. This board did, however, include the modem and another daughterboard.

Does What It's Supposed to Do
It does what it's supposed to do, without getting hot (like the one from another outfit that this one replaces). The price was very competitive and the delivery was surprisingly quick. Now we see if it lasts (it replaces one that wasn't even a year old).

Logitech Was Nuts to Discontinue Their Harmony Remotes
I bought this Harmony 650 to use for parts in rebuilding and repairing the two 650s I've been using for... I don't know — maybe 10 years. I have two with the same programming — one for me and one for my wife — taking the place of five separate remotes, and making it unnecessary to toss remotes back and forth.
