A great book for anyone interested in drawing and painting trees!
I have been drawing trees on my own for a while and needed more guidance. This book was perfect for me. The author takes you through the supplies that you will need and gives you a good background on where to begin with trees. I have had trouble with understanding colors especially in finding the right color green. She gives you plenty of tips on combining colors to achieve the most believeable greens when you paint trees. I also enjoy her drawings as compared to other books I have seen on watercolors. I would definitely recommend this book who is interested in drawing and painting trees.

Creating Textured Landscapes With Pen, Ink and Watercol
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I bought this book because it had fairly new information about the equipment and paints that are currently available. The book is very explicit about the techniques used to get certain watercolor textures. I have some other books by Claudia Nice, and I like them a lot too. There isn't anything that I dislike about it.

Better than the original
I have an old Sears Car/RV Tire Inflater, and the connector to the tire wore out, and was unusable. The pump still worked, so I was reluctant to get rid of it. I found this Chuck Ball for a few dollars, and decided it was worth giving it a try before I just disposed of the inflater. After cutting off the original connector, I dipped the rubber hose into boiling water for a few seconds, and then pressed on this Chuck Ball, and secured it with a hose clamp. That did the trick! The inflater works better than it did when it was new. Having a quality connector sure makes the difference.
