Stick with the brand
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Have tried "off-brand" inks, and they just aren't the same tend to be lighter and may smear. Authentic HP is the way to go!

Great for Adult ESL Literacy
There are very few phonics texts/workbooks published for ESL low-lit adults, and Fast Track Phonics by Kaye Willey is the best that I have found in nearly 20 years of teaching ESL to teens and adults. I had a nearly miraculous experience with one particular young lady who has strong cognitive skills but have never had the opportunity to go to school at all in her home country. Even students who are slower to catch on still enjoy and make progress with this text after some initial preparation in a true pre-lit text such as Longman Literacy or Literacy Plus A.
Every other teacher to whom I have recommended Fast Track phonics has had similar experiences with new-arrival high school students and young adults.
The day-to-day adventures of Pat and her C-V-C-named pals and pets provide a high-interest pathway to basic English literacy. There is strong visual support to facilitate comprehension, and the blessed omission of the low-frequency vocabulary found in many other adult phonics programs makes reading less frustrating for English language learners. (No "lob" or "nub" here.) I use exercises in this book in conjunction with manipulative word-building and sentence-building activities to provide multi-sensory input.
The only negative is that, while the text is life-skills based, it does not have the depth to fulfill all of the requirements of a an ESL/Life Skills curriculum. However, it is an awesome supplement, and the students really do enjoy it and even ask for it as a break from the life skills texts our program uses.

Long-lasting makes it worth the price
I bought this as a backup to one I purchased a year ago. Even with almost daily use, it still has a 2-3 months worth of life left in it, but I read someplace that the Moonstruck line is going to be discontinued, so I wanted to make sure to get my color while I still could.
