Disappointing
I'll give it that it's well constructed and functional. That said, the Safety Orange grip is half way to Pink, a sort of Day-Glo Peach color. Not impressed. As for "Ammo Included," don't believe it.it is NOT. There certainly wasn't any in my package.
I would NOT recommend and will NOT give them any more business.

RED HOUSE rocks. Ignore the rest.
Almost comically uneven. There is one sublime, stand out version of "Red House." The rest is mere filler tossed in to charge the customer for an entire album.

Washburn can make great guitars but is clueless how to sell them.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This make and model had every feature I wanted in a resonator guitar and then some. It's full voiced for acoustic playing with a neck pickup with Tone and Volume controls for electric applications. Word is the pickup is designed just for resonators. The single cutaway improves access to the positions above the 12th fret where many resonators' necks join the body. A bonus was the smaller openings in the plate as suggested by the artist for a warmer tone. A minor minus is the weight. Many Les Pauls weigh as much.
Washburn ruins the buying experience and costs themselves customers by putting out a signature model guitar, but then pulling the classless, Guitar Center move of not having the class to include the guitar case in the deal. It's wretchedly obtuse of them to offend not only the customer's intelligence, but their own status in the industry. Does one single other manufacturer put out an artist signature model guitar without a case? Someone explain to Washburn Alpha Beancounter this is not a math problem thing, this is a marketing thing, a self-inflicted wound marketing thing to be precise.
The guitar is well made and performs admirably. I got it for only $400 due to minor cosmetic flaws. There's no way in hell I'd pay full price for an artist signature model instrument that doesn't come with a case... especially after I'm told Washburn's workman models do!
