I like her last name.
Mrs. Beeton was an overworked woman with the same desires as other women; family, money, a good name. She just tried to get it all at once and died at a very young age. It's a good bit of history about Mrs. Beeton, and I like her writing style, as well as some of the words she uses.

Betty Crocker Cookbook and Escoffier
Escoffier is an inside look at a part of life we should all experience. The Betty Crocker cookbook is exactly like the one my Mom had, and I appreciate all of its contents.
