NO LONGER A PAPER WEIGHT
It seems to be of good quality and value but it still needs to be proven over time.
For me, when I just got it, it puts my chainsaw back to work and that's what I was hoping for.
My chainsaw is no longer just a paper weight.

It's great to have a new, well fitting lid.
I read the bottom of the bowl to find they were 3 Cup bowls requiring a 3 Cup lid.
Brilliant!!!

The shipping time didn't matter, so I gave 5 stars.

Just As It Looks
It's just as it looks, no wiring required. I took out 2 screws holding the hand grip parts to the handlebar - which gave me access to the switch. I removed 1 screw to the existing switch retainer and "my" switch came right out. (I specify "my" because the top of my switch was completely missing.)
I placed the new switch in - with the contact side to the wiring. I placed the switch actuator on top & installed the screw to keep it there.
I did not use the switch retainer which I removed from the original equipment. It did not fit right & interfered with the "STOP" position. So I just inserted the screw for the retainer & placed the retainer itself in my tool box "just in case".
The throttle cable did fall out of the twist grip as my hands were a little large for such small work. So I reinstalled the end and put the cable back into the slot in order to get the two pieces back together.
Works like a champ.
The Lil Tike's learn on this automatic / shaft drive bike BUT because of that - it takes a beating. Better the bike than the child so it's great that the parts are both cheap & easy to replace.
I don't know how many young boys & girls have learned how to ride on this 1996 model, but I do know that the bike has paid for itself time and again with DIYer parts.
