MM manual
Quite a good manual - but the biggest drawback is that it doesn't have an index - and so often have to try several sections until getting the right page. The manual does assume quite a good degree of knowledge about the vehicle but this would be the same as Haynes, and this does provide more detail

Drain filter
I was surprised at how cheap this filter housing was. The filter was completely blocked and I was unable to get it out - this is a design flaw with the Bosch machines as the handle of the filter is only plastic and they get very jammed in and so it broke when trying to unscrew it (I should probably clear it out on a regular basis as not very good at checking pockets etc when doing the washing). Anyway in the past the filter itself has cost about £6, and so I was surprised to get it complete with housing and pump for £12. Very easy to fit too. Other aspects of the Bosch appear good as have had washer for over 12 years now and usually used at least twice a day
