Worked OK for me sort of...
I have three of these mixers in my house. All have been serviced over the past 19 years by me. This time, to correct a dripping shower, I ordered from this site vs going to Kohler at 3X the price. The pressure regulator did not fit as easily as the original unit and once reassembled, water did not shut off completely. So I just used the new washers with the old pressure regulator & mixer. Problem solved.
Could I have just purchased a repair kit of washers? Or go to the local hardware store for washers? Probably yes. Did not see a repair kit in my Google search not did I look for one.
Do I recommend this kit? Well Yes & No based upon my experience. Who knows, possibly the units from Kohler are also from China as well and i got one that slipped through Q/A?
