Excellent product
It worked great to connect two too-short cat5 cables. It looks streamlined and high-quality. I like the black color.

Rescued all the data from client's old laptop!
My client spilled soda pop on her laptop. The sugar in the pop corroded the keyboard and motherboard so the laptop wouldn't boot. The hard drive didn't look corroded, so I pulled it out and plugged it into this hard drive enclosure. It was easy to install with a couple screws. (Sabrent included a tiny screwdriver that would be enough to install the hard drive in the enclosure. I fyou need to take the hard drive out of the old computer like I did, you probably need a more robust set of screwdrivers. I used my own) I plugged the (included) USB cables into her new laptop. Be aware that it requires two USB ports, preferably side by side. I was then able to access the hard drive and easily transferred all the old data to the new computer. It was perfect for the 2.5" SATA drive from the old laptop. I'm very happy with the purchase.
