Don't try and save a dime and buy something cheaper!
3 von 5 finden das hilfreich This pro pointer is awesome !!!!!! It takes a very quick time to learn how to adjust. It has three sensitivity modes and it incredibly accurate. I have used it totally submerged in "vibrate mode" and it works like a champ. It seems a little pricey at first glance but it is rugged, waterproof and extremely well made. I can't begin to tell you the amount of time this thing has saved me. No one likes to find a bottle cap, pull tab or old nail, but, this makes it easy to find things in record time. Making recovery of good targets much quicker.

Fujifilm 3D is here- and a little better then I thought
3 von 3 finden das hilfreich I had purchased this camera initially for the novelty. I have been a collector of professional cameras and optics for years. I had no intention of replacing my Nikons with this little thing. But it is just flat out a blast to play with. The 3D takes a little getting used to. You need to experiment with it. It seems that the more objects that you have in the frame the better the 3d effect. The 3d movie function is not as great as the still shots are. I thought that I would take a few pictures with it and the novelty would wear off. I was wrong. I have shot a couple hundred pictures with it and have so far been really pleased. There are some definite limitations to the unit. First and foremost I only bought the camera, not the optional monitor. So all I can really see is the picture on the camera. It is a generous size screen for a point and click. I had thought about the monitor, but I think I will wait on that one for now. I am guessing that it will be like digital picture frames. They will eventually drop in price. The camera is very pricy for a point and click, even if it is 3d. Still far cheaper than the majority of optional lens that fit my dslr camera bodies. Another drawback is printing-again expensive and you cannot print 3d at home. You need to be realistic about the 3D effect- it is very much like looking at a viewmaster- just no glasses. There is some definite dept to the picture but it lacks a sense that the 3d figures are rounded. A clear separation between objects.
There are several things that did surprise me. I tossed this camera in my camera bag and took some pictures with it, I also had a Nikon D2H with a vibration reduction lens. I won’t say the quality was as good, but I have to be honest it was closer than I thought it would be in terms of color reproduction. There is a noticeable amount of noise in lower light situations.
I would have to recommend this camera but do keep in mind this is more a really cool toy then a high end camera.
A quick word about the 2D function- you can take two pictures at the same time-different exposures or zoom factors. This seemed to me not really that useful. Almost as if they did not know what to do with the extra lens on the camera when you are in 2D mode. Most functions in 2D are easily replicated in Photoshop or similar programs.

Far Cheaper then picking one up at bestbuy
It works very well- it will work without the power source if you are not charging anything. Like wireless keyboard dongles and thumb drives. If you need it to charge phones then plug it in.
