Low profile get home bag
Ok, just received two of these and am pleased out of the gate. First, seller's description does little justice at a whopping price of $5.00!
In the side pouch, I comfortably nest a titanium Snow Peak Mini Solo cook set and stove, gas cartridge, Nalgene 1L water bottle. There is some room to spare in its width.
The main compartment is cavernous. I have not decided how to pack yet, however I've confirmed that two days of calorie dense food will fit along with sil nylon poncho tarp/stakes/paracord/carbon fiber poles (which fit perfectly in lengthwise compartment in the main compartment), 2 types of water treatment (Sawyer filter and AquaMira), fire starting/water purification, lightweight bivy, wind shirt, sil nylon rain chaps, light wool gloves and hat, spare lightweight socks small med kit, multitool, 1L platypus, headlamp and several other nicknacks. This is mostly ultralight equipment that I use for my backpacking escapades and it does take experience to use the kit safely, particularly in winter.
2400 calorie SOS emergency food packs fit perfectly (flat) in the main compartment. I also have several packs of powdered recovery drink mixes and a few packs of peanut butter. Looks like it will fit in excess of 5,500 calories in addition the above gear list.
I bought two in the hopes to replace my current get home bags (small backpacks) for each of our vehicles. Backpacks are a great way to advertise that you are carrying valuables in emergency situations. Best to keep a very low profile in such situations folks!
As carrying this pouch on your hip will extend mid-thigh and bounce around, I'm going to try and use the drain grommet as a tie in point for a thigh strap. I'll try to post some pictures of this when I get around to it.

Comprehensive and complete
Comprehensive manual which includes fold our schematics where applicable. You wil need a large 3 ring binder. I would buy again.
