Kawasaki Z1 and Z900 buyers guide
Very interesting. Useful for determining which model you have as well as what model components have been fitted in the past. I was able to determine one of my Z900's was an early '73, despite having been first registered in 1975. It had been heavily modified as a drag bike and will never be original again. Another bike I own had been registered in 1974 but it has a number of parts supplied from later models. I now understand what to do if I ever want to restore either to original specifications. There have been more complete books written in the past, as well as great data bases held by Clubs and Interest groups but none have been as accessible, straight forward or cheap to obtain. Recommended.

Sprite/Midget and MGB far brake spanner works on rusty adjusters.
No more rounded off "Spridget" or MGB rear brake adjuster bolts from using open ended spanners on rusty brake shoe adjusters. Use the correct tool every time to get your brake adjusted fast.

Bullbar light mounting brackets
These brackets are simple to fit and look good. Unfortunately, these are unsuitable for serious four wheel drive usage. I found that using them to mount 7'' or 9" spotlights worked fine in the suburbs and even in light 4WD driving conditions. However, the slots on these aluminium brackets open up and loosen the brackets, causing the spotlights to fall and crash against the bullbar when driving over corrugations for continuous periods. For the price, they are fine for urban use and occasional light 4WD applications. A more solid permanent fix is required for serious 4WD. I'm contemplating welding a bracket directly to the bullbar for that.
