Good knife, and awkward pliers
The knife is sharp and the tool, altogether, is well made. The handles while being used as pliers are a bit awkward for me, and if you have larger hands they might be more than awkward. The awkwardness does not change the effectiveness of the tool for me, but there is another thing that does. The lack of a spring opening the pliers. The jaws stay stuck together when you close them and you have you either finagle your gripping hand or employ a second hand to open them again. As with many multitools they are meant to be a means to conveniently give you access to the tools, but not necessarily a convenient use of the tools. If you want the best knife or pair of wire cutters, then don't buy a multitool. If you want a decent and convenient version of both, then get the Leatherman.
