No frills, simple, great quality.
Title sums it up. I'll add that it's tough too. I build heavy equipment and the first day, my wrist got crushed between a steel rail and a machine I was carrying. It survived.

Bright, but not too bright.
I'm always inside of a computer case or something similar with shiny metal. This light is plenty bright to do anything I do, to include finding car keys at night, but not so bright I go blind. It weighs almost nothing and doesn't get in the way in my pocket. Possibly the greatest thing sounds like a con instead of a pro, but it's not. A battery only lasts about an hour and some change. This is great because it means I can use rechargeable ones. The cells on the charger won't stay there long enough to ruin. Also, the funky clip that's made to go on a hat is way easier to clip in my pocket and doesn't wear out the denim like the full size version I had before. I do wish, though that they had a version with neon yellow or hunter orange paint on it instead of black. I actually set this light down last night after a long day at work and now can't find it, lol. (All I could find was a dull red at the time of order)

Live OS choice.
I bought this to run live Linux distros. Holy cow! They weren't pulling my leg when they said this thing was quick! I honestly had no idea their was an option for speed with a flash stick. I had accepted that they where all slow. All the specs manufacturers list for their products are just outright lies. I decided to give this particular one a go on a whim. It formatted in just a few seconds. I didn't time it with a stop watch, but dd took less than 30 seconds for a 3gb iso. The longest any image has taken to boot from power on to full load is about 20 seconds. Any "light" OS that I've tried has been nearly instant on my test PC. Can't wait to try DSL and Puppy. Oh yeah.. And persistence.. Actually out performs a passport (which is what I used to use). This drive is absolutely insane. I can say for certain it's the best thing I've ever seen for portable OS's. I never thought about it before (because USB options always sucked).. But I think I might look into making a multi-boot.
