Bought it for the kids
After reading al the great reviews it got, but got pulled in myself and I hadn't played games for years. Too hard for the younger kids and they need to understand English. Great world, love the irony in the voice over, great game play, it's solving 3d puzzles, did cheat on the ones I got stuck at by watching a walk through of some levels.

Hard glass, very scratch resistant but not unbreakable.
Applying the foil went without any problems. First remove the Sony supplied protective plastic foil, clean the screen, position the glass foil and let it attach itself to the screen. When needed apply pressure in such a way no air gets caught.
The phone works as before and looks new again.
Unfortunately I managed to crack it within a week by forcing my phone in a hard plastic 3d visor that didn't fit.
This allowed be to do some tests. A Swiss army knife will not scratch the glass. Quartz sand applied to my fingertip would not scratch the glass. It took some effort to make a scratch catching a quartz grain between my finger nail and the surface and applying a good deal of pressure while moving it. In everyday use it should not scratch.
Removing the foil:
Started out by carefully putting a knife under one corner and with gentle but forceful pulling, slowly increasing the area of separation. It made one thing clear, once it is stuck it can't be removed or repositioned without breaking. The silicone back is strong, keeps the glass splinters together and stayed in one piece.
It does come off without leaving a residue.
