Jetstream JTPS32MAB - 30 Amp / 12 Volt Power Supply w/ Power Pole & Binding Post

Compact yet powerful.

When my 45 amp power supply died I needed something quickly, but my budget couldn't handle another 45 amp supply so I ordered this one. It runs my 100 watt HF radio without even getting warm. Regulation is very good, from idle to 100 watt CW carrier the voltage only drops .02 volts at 22 amps of draw! It does have a pretty quiet cooling fan, the fan on my amplifer is noisier so I don't notice that the fan on this supply is running. Also, there is NO noticable RF hash! All in all, it is a very good power supply for the money!

Worth the money!

This stand makes it MUCH easier to change the viewing angle of the Show 8. Very simple, sturdy design.

Radio is great, manual not so much.

Operation from the front panel is pretty straightforward for the basic functions of the radio. Audio is clear and loud on receive, and I'm told as well on transmit. Programming with Chirp is easy enough, but I haven't tried the OEM software yet. The manual leaves a lot to be desired. I cannot find anywhere what the A B C D E F buttons do, nor how to program them. At this price point, I'm not going to complain much. Very nice the the remote mounting hardware including the cable is included.
