Very redolent of the period, a good, accurate O gauge accessory.

Durable? Entertaining? Educational? What inappropriate categories for a model! Not durable as it won't stand with being played with but then it's not designed as a toy anyway. Entertaining in as much as it looks good on an O gauge layout but it doesn't do somersaults or go beep beep, vroom vroom. Educational - passively I suppose as an example of 1950s light haulage. A great little model with super period feel, very realistic, well-priced and nicely produced. The model sits in a 'rear down' attitude, I don't know if this is intentional or a fault. An essential purchase for the O gauge modeller or 1/43 collector interested in British Railways ancillaries.

V GOOD QUALITY BUT BEWARE IF YOU HAVE A VIOLIN BASS!

My ratings are positive in spirit, I didn't want to click on 'no' as product is good quality, would like to have had a middle option. It would be unfair to blame the product for my experience as the packaging is clear and concise. BUT While quality and sound are good the strings were too short for my BEATLE BASS. All the ads I've seen have referred to violin basses being short scale so I ordered these but they were too short for mine. Not sure where the error is but if you have a BEATLE BASS, get medium scale to be on the safe side. It was an expensive error.
