Grate blanket. Controllers do not stand the test of time.
When working properly, the controls are precise and consistent with an excellent range of heat options. The ten hour timer that turns the blanket off automatically is a useful feature. Unfortunately this is my third purchase of a controller. The blanket lasts, the controllers do not last.

Easily one of the best movies ever made
Easily one of the best movies ever made. Writing, acting and directing are all outstanding. Story line is thoughtful, provocative and plausible. Plenty of humor and the film's pacing is excellent. The film's characters are shown with all their flaws and their positive aspects. Some of what is best about the human spirit is beautifully displayed.

The best music when one needs a little peace.
Discreet Music can be classified as ambient music. It is a series of repeated notes and tones at different pitches, octaves and with various electronic variations. The result is a pleasing, smoothly flowing, almost intricate blend of notes that is very peaceful. The music is aptly named.
Discreet Music is excellent for meditation. The music can be helpful to quiet one's mind when trying to sleep. Set your CD play timer for 30 minutes and the music will end just before your CD player turns off. Discreet Music can be helpful to simply unwind at the end of a hectic day.
Over the years I have purchased this CD many times to give as a gift for the reasons described in the previous paragraph.
One note of caution. The three variations of the Pachelbel Cannon can only be described as an assault upon the ears. I suggest buying Discreet Music only for the title track.
