This is a great example of what a video game remake should be. Everything great about the original N64 game, already one of the best rail shooters ever, is faithfully preserved, along with adding options that make it more accessible to people new to the genre, like gyro aiming and the new '3ds" mode. It feels great to and shoot down enemies and do barrel rolls, and the voice performances are as good as ever. Anyone wanting to get into Star Fox or rail shooters in general really can't do better than this.

A good time for crossword fans
It's a good word game compilation. Letter recognition can spotty sometimes (especially the letter T), but there is a good variety of content to play. Fans of crossword puzzles and word searches will have plenty fun.
The game is incredibly simple: all you really do is walk and throw pikmin at anything you come across. Levels are very simple and rarely challenging. Despite that, they feel longer than they due to the slow pace of the game. Graphics wise it isn't the best the 3DS has to offer. The frame rate was very bad in my time with it, often becoming extremely choppy when a lot of things were on-screen. It was fun to collect all the treasures and read their descriptions, however. I think I would recommend this game to people who like the pikmin characters and really want to play one of their games, but are put off by mainline games actual gameplay. If you have no interest in pikmin, don't bother. there are better side-scrollers on the 3DS, and if you think the gameplay is interesting on its own, I would recommend the much better Kirby: Mass Attack, instead.
