green handled and the other end cuts wood

Battery is only good for a few months
The unit worked well for jump starting for the first 6 months, which I used it 4-5 times. I specifically bought this a as a backup for a cross Australia trip. Now I can't get it to charge to full after 12 months (displays a 3/4 on the LED indicator regardless of time spent on charge).
I can now get one jump from the unit, but not a 2nd one making it only suitable for a single use.
