Because fine china is only one of the many items we sell, we decided to change our name from No Bull China Shop to a more generic Painted Puppies, A Trading Post. Why Painted Puppies, you might ask? Our co-owner, Dr. Mitzi Fisher, joined a group of dog breeders about twenty years ago in an effort to bring the Irish Red and White Setter back from near extinction to being a viable breed recognized by both the American Kennel Club and United Kennel Club. We love the breed and have adopted them as our mascot.
