Clean Air!
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This Austin unit is well built and suggests a 5 year life span of the filter. It also has a huge amount of carbon in its secondary filter and the air in our bedroom does smell cleaner with the thing running. We found this unit for a great price on Ebay and we're thrilled with it.
We've previously used an expensive Friedrich whole-house electrostatic air cleaner, and this HEPA works much better in terms of how clean the air smells. The old electronstatic cleaner emitted smelly ozone (smelled like electrically burnt or metallic air) and the HEPA does not. Only future downside would be the high cost to replace the HEPA filter, but I'm relying on the company's representation that this filter should last 5 years in normal usage.

Awesome combination
I love Klaus Schulze. I also have every Dead Can Dance CD as well as Lisa Gerard's solos. This is a great combination between the two, with Lisa's etherial voice carryin Schultze's new age electronica to new heights in live concerts. Don't expect this to have any resemblance to Dead Can Dance music style, but if you like old-school new age (Schulze, or old Tangerine Dream, or Synergy), you'll enjoy Lisa's singing on this. Most of her singing is vocalization of notes, with few sung words, somewhat similar to some of her own solo work.

It's worth the cost for the OEM replacement.
I've had the same bathroom fan fixture for 20 years, and am on my fourth motor. The last two I bought aftermarket motors and they didn't last. This time I decided to spend more to get the OEM Nutone replacement and could tell out of the box that this motor is built much better than the aftermarket version. It runs great and is quiet.
