Lowest setting (shown in picture) to high for comfortable use

For me, the main problem with this product is that it sits too high for use without fatigue. The picture shows the product in it's lowest setting ( I assumed that was the highest setting when I ordered it)also, the front sits too high off of the desk to be able to comfortably work on my laptop. The product itself is not built well, the tabs which hold the product in position are very thin, if you use this product as designed for portability, I'm afraid it would not last long.
