Purchased the rotator due to Dish Network and Direct TV dropping broadcast stations and we were unable to watch local channels as we were promised . The rotator allows us to watch our local broadcast channels and fine tune the direction of reception to receive a clear signal. The RCA VH226E was very easy to install and the instructions were very easy to follow . We can now watch TV when the weather blocks the satellite signal ,which happens all too often in Louisiana .We live in a rural area in central Louisiana , the closest broadcast station is about 65 miles away and we get a great signal from it and others even farther away
