One of the most detailed books on Maiden!
Really compelling content. A lot to read and LEARN even if you were an older Maiden fan. The book has nearly no photos or pictures so be prepared for a total immersion...

Essential! One of the best fully authorised books on Maiden
Fantastic stuff! It covers in gory detail the early years of the band until 1984/85 or so. It is written in thick English accent so it is a pretty challenging read but the content is kick-ass, so you are gonna laugh a lot! Highly recommended read!

Could be so much better...
The book manages to hold your interest just barely. It is written/edited in a rather simplistic way and not aided by the fact that the content offers nearly nothing new for a more experienced Maiden fans. If you are a newbie then this could be your brief. Introduction to the setting of the scene in the Maiden camp throughout the years. The biggest letdown with the book is that the actual band/core members have very little voice there.
