  eBay refunded the buyer and also allowed me to keep the proceeds from the sale. The vacuum was received by eBay international shipping. With a very vague letter I was informed that the vacuum has been liquidated, the buyer will be refunded, and the seller (me) will keep the funds from the sale. The letter informed me that the vacuum will not be returned to me, it will not be sent on to the buyer and that eBay is responsible for the destruction of the vacuum. Out of my control.
