Identical to OEM parts
This new air strut looked exactly like the OEM. They installed without too much effort. The only problem I had came when I connected the air line to the top of the strut. One of the caps twisted and unseated. When the air was applied, the cap popped off. I had to take the strut back out to work on the cap. The clip and groove that hold the cap on are weak in my opinion. I was able to put the cap back on and reinstall the strut. I was more careful tightening up the air line to the strut the second time. This seems to be holding but the design could be improved. The spring and groove appear to match the OEM so I believe they copied everything well. The end result is the new air struts fit fine and work fine and saved me a lot of money. Now let's see how long they last.
