Fair flashlight, high cost only due to sentimental memories.
There are plenty of better flashlights out there for more lumens, especially for the high price people are charging for these lights. People asking $30, $40, or more than $50 are really ripping people off. I paid a high price since it was my Dad's favorite flashlight. It was lost and I wanted to do something special for him. It was is favorite due to the tripod.
The tripod is a neat idea and so is the separating lights. But for the low lumens it casts (even all put together), it is not worth the cost today. They would have to more than triple the lumens to make it worth the cost.
This flashlight is no longer in production and came out more than 15 years ago. The tech in the led lights are outdated. There is a reason it is no longer in production.
