I’m going to guess the manufacturing moved to China?
Build quality wise it’s poor, it isn’t as good as their previous torches, and it’s missing crucial features I loved about their previous models.
The button sucks, they used to have this great analogue magnet button, now it’s this digital side button with no programming ability. You cannot put it on a wall mount either thanx to a lack of magnet...
My other problem is the battery, instead of contact points, you have a cable that is too short and hard to plug in. If you put it round with the connector facing towards
The led.... good luck getting it out.
It’s bright, I love the adjustable lens (though even that doesn’t seem as good as their previous products) but that’s about it, a step back in almost every way.
