Sadly, despite the presence of Rachel McAdams and Noomi Rapace and what should have been a good story, director Brian De Palma made one of the most muted movies I've seen in a while. Worse, the movie is replete with what a couple of decades ago were leading edge elements (homosexual women, women in power, etc) but are today nothing more than dry clichés. As such, the movie is essentially a time killer and a disappointment. If you gotta see McAdams or Rapace in what should have been an erotic scene, buy it - otherwise this movie is a TV movie only.

These are pretty decent, but when cost is involved they are great.
I've been trying various inner-ear earphones of late for use with COWON M2 and PLENUE D DAPs (amped and un-amped). I use EMMELINE TOMAHAWK, Practical DEVICES XM4, and an OLD mSEED for amping duties.
So far I have KLIPSCH S4 and X10, FiiO EX1, DUNU 23, SONY MDR-XB90EX, AKG N20, and these VSONIC VSD1S earphones. I have at least 100 hours of amped break-in time on each.
The KLIPSCH sound good for mids, with a bit of extension high and low. Unfortunately, they feel cheap. Because they are so light, I carry these as extras in case my primary pair have issues.
The FiiO EX1 have decent build quality, but are sibilant. Heavy, too. Price is fair for an introduction to better build quality.
The DUNU 23 is supposed to be more bass orientated then the FiiO EX1, but they seem more mid orientated, with a muddy low. For what these cost me, I am not impressed too much.
Now the SONY MDR-XB90EX, AKG N20, and these VSONIC VSD1S earphones are left and I enjoy listening to each about equally. As a result, I rotate these the most.
The SONY MDR-XB90EX have more bass, but benefit most from being amped. Strangely, the AKG N20 are power hungry but also have good bass, too.
The VSONIC VSD1S does not need the amp, it offers good bass, good construction, and the cost is unreal low.
Oh yeah, I like the SPINFIT and SONY silicone with foam ear tips.

Review from a non-anime watcher

The storyline and style are quirky and eclectic in my view, but I still enjoyed the series enough to buy it. If you watch the series and are an anime fan, you'll get the inside jokes made of the genre that are in the series more so than I have, but as a novice I still found the overall absurdity funny. In a way, I'd say the series is '60 pychodelic meets Monty Python meets anime.
