Works, but you have to be pretty close and not much off-angle
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich (We lost the original remote when our house got flooded recently, hence the need for a new one). The TV's remote was rarely used because the cable box's remote is what does all the work. These "look" brand new, pristine, but I can't say if they really are, at least internally: Since we rarely used the original because you only need to use it for occasional picture adjustments or input changes, I can't say how this one compares nor can I remember if the original also needed to be pretty close and not be off-angle much as this one has to be. It works, but anything much more than "pointing right at it" won't do anything. But for its intended purpose in our case, that's enough, it will suffice.

Lower voltage output than typical AC adapters, Unstable voltage output at 3 & 4.5 volts
0 von 2 finden das hilfreich I wonder how many people that have used this have actually TESTED it with a meter? I've been using and testing AC adapters for decades, this is only the SECOND one* out of many hundreds who's voltage output is what is indicated on the adapter. Yep, that's usually NOT the case, voltages are always a considerable % over what is marked; "12v" adapters (or the "12v" settings on universal adapters) are usually about ~15v, "9v" is usually about ~12v, and so on. This adapter's settings are spot-on. This is neither a good nor bad thing, it's just something to note: If you need to power something that lights up, or performs some kind of "mechanical work", and it's a "12v" device on which you've always used a "12v" adapter (which again, usually was putting out about 15v), the device with this adapter may not be as bright, as fast, (whatever the case may be) as it was with a previous "12v" adapter because now it would be getting about ~3 volts less. In some cases this would be GOOD if the device is voltage-sensitive and should not be over-volted. *(The only other adapter was a 3v digital camera adapter that read exactly 3v).
One thing that did trouble me was the voltage output at 4.5v and 3v was really unstable, jumping around a lot by about .2v both + and -, both ways. That's a variance of about .4v, might be of concern for some 3-4.5v voltage-sensitive devices. Luckily I will only be using it for 9 or 12v devices, and hopefully there won't be any issue with the devices getting lower voltage than they previously did.

Bright with a REALLY focused tight sharp-defined spot beam, but NOT 8000 lumens!
These are really bright with an INCREDIBLY focused tight sharp defined spot beam, but It's a FLAT-OUT LIE that these are an INSANE EIGHT-THOUSAND lumens, yes, claimed as 8000 lumens! I can only guess FORTY (40) TIMES LESS than that. They only last a few minutes because of the incredibly tiny battery in them, but as long as you only need it a few seconds here and there, no problem, you won't notice the short battery charge.
