On Becoming Baby Wise
I got this book for my daughter-in-law who is a new mom. I read the book before giving it to her, and found there is practical and sound advice for developing a schedule for the baby to adapt to, rather than letting the baby make the schedule, since this new person is becoming part of a family unit. I agreed with the philosophy, behind the practical steps, that would be simple for moms and dads to implement. It was fun to learn that 30 years ago, I had done most of the things advised, on my own, and my infant children were happy and content, for the most part.
