Mercedes A Class W169 CVT

I purchased this CVT transmission because the original had become noisey. When it arrived the garage that fitted it opened the oil pan and the filter had been recently fitted (they are dated) and there was fine metal particles in the oil pan. I decided to have it fitted anyway at a cost pf 650 euros. Withing 100 metres it demonstrated to be significantly worse than the original transmission. The transmission plus fitting and oils etc was £1500. The car has not been used since. Lesson; CVT transmissions are problematic and are no longer used by Mercedes. Best keep away from them

W210 seat occupancy

It did not work, I bought a new mercedes seat occupancy mat and all is well. The emulator did not do the job.
