Excellent recording. Great music.
This is a live recording at the Grand Canyon. An excellent recording. Both jazz/blues lovers and Audiophiles will really dig it.

Audiophile recording.
Audiophile favorite. A little too much artificial digital reverb for me, but that's the way modern recordings are these days.

A great book written by a great man.
I was privledged to have "Van" as a teacher in 1949. I will never forget Room 10 at Wilson Grammar School in Santa Barbara, California. Van was a special man, very dedicated to teaching, and had a tremendous influence on the kids who attended his classes. Here I am, 81 years old now, and still thinking about Van. I'm still in contact with some of my sixth-grade buddies. We get together once in a while for lunch ... and the conversation always gets around to Van and how he influenced all of our lives.
If you are a teacher ... YOU NEED THIS BOOK.
