Comprehensive, fascinating, the best.
For the small esoteric audience seeking lichen dye information, this book tells ALL. History, lore, and current detailed instructions with lots of science. A lifetime of work and study in an easy to read and understand book.

This book teaches you to think like a Good Cook!
Best cookbook I've seen in a decade. Carla Lalli Music teaches techniques that are helpful and some are quite new, and I've been cooking for 50 years. Her ideas for putting a twist or spin on recipes expands cooking concepts to learning to think and experimnt like a good cook, which is so much more than following a recipe exactly (the painting by number style of cooking. )

Nice fit but bulky style
Fit and comfort are great, but style-wise, these shoes are bulky. There is unnecessary and useless (in my opinion) padding 3/4" thick inside the tongue and 1/2" thick around the foot opening. Those areas for me don't need padding and the lacing allows adjustment to fit comfortable.
