Up and away with an Osprey today.

An interesting model to make and paint, I enjoyed researching this aircraft, studying the videos about of it in flight completes the project. the kit I had was not fitting together very well, a more experienced approach is necessary to translate the "vague" instructions I believe. however take the time , 2 variants are available open or closed rear door. I enjoyed this overall.

flying high with a Walrus

Never in the field of human modeling…..has so much plastic been put to a great use ! this is my first Airfix kit in probably 40 years and I really enjoyed it. self explanatory instruction guide, well laid out parts , minimal trimming, few thick parts but sharp side cutters prevail. a fascinating model to build , I think I have spent over 30 hours researching and watching video of them flying for real too, I have been well engaged in this kit for a couple of weeks, take time to enjoy it. yes there are fiddly parts and frustrating to make a interior no one can see. I recommend this.
