Protection for Hard Exercise in Hot Weather
Reason why I buy / use = Long Distance & also VERY Hot / Humid Cycling. Fellow Cyclist mentioned at a Century Event last year. Tried it after buying the smallest box (6 packets) and bought more so when I ride longer distances / time this summer in 100 heat index conditions, I can stay hydrated + avoid cramping.
So far it has worked well.
It has a stronger but pleasant taste. Depending on size of drink bottle, I adjust the amount I use ie; larger bottle I use 1.5 packets. It's overkill for shorter rides and I use other products for those rides.

Quality Product that works well for me
Saddles are VERY personal - so what one person raves about another will trash. Even though I'm riding this Avant and have for MANY (have a couple - other bikes) miles, there's probably another Saddle out there that would work even better. I've tried many that failed the test.
My comments will focus on the Product vs Riding it.
It starts with the authentic leather smell when you open the box. The Italian craftsmanship is quickly evident and I have not had any workmanship failures at all.
I chose the Avant to match my sit bone profile / width and to provide extended comfort during longer rides. The center channel / cutout was another feature I wanted and works well.
Avant has a slight rise toward the rear of the saddle which provides a support / brace point when in the drops to help applying power.
Is it pricey, yes but so are many others & considering the quality, It's very good value.
Wish Selle and other Saddle makers would etch the rails more permanently to help precise adjustments (if needed) as time goes on
