Probably the most realistic showing of the Pacific in WWII
Very good. Does not spare the true savagry of the Pacific island hoping operations. The characters followed were realistic and were well developed.

Great storm scene but a number of egregious technical flaws
A great depiction of the challenges of getting a rescue boat over a shoal in weather where the sane would normally not take the risk. Regarding the ship, it was not a T-2 tanker engine room that was shown. Those ships were turbo-electric variable speed synchronous motor propulsion and the flooding shown in the engine room would have disabled propulsion a long time ago. A number of the controls and indicators shown did not seem to make any sense. Nonetheless, it was interesting to note that steerage was being maintained via using chain falls. This is something that can be done when all else fails.
Regarding the vendor of this product, it arrived on time and the DVD was in the conditioned promised. I had no playback problem. I would do business with this vendor again.
